Thank you for finding your way to us! We hope you can find out some of what you need to know about us here and also get a flavour of the warm welcome you will receive when you step into our Church on a Sunday morning.
Our main services begin at 10.30am each every Sunday and with the release of the covid regulations, we are very pleased to be resuming our tea and coffee (with biscuits of course)
on offer afterwards.
We are a small but very friendly group of people and we love to welcome new people to worship with us wherever you are in your journey of faith.
Our Minister can be contacted here
Our regular Sunday worship is at 10.30am and we have a loop system for the hard of hearing.
We celebrate Holy Communion once a month and our services generally have 4 or 5 hymns. We love to sing and now the covid regulations have changed we are so happy to be able to sing as a congregation.
As is traditional in Methodism, our services are led by a variety of preachers, both lay and ordained, mostly from the 3B's Circuit, though occasionally from further afield.
This means we have the chance to experience a variety of approaches to worship.
Our services plan is done every three months and our upcoming services can be found here.
Our Vision Statement
Our aim is to bring the Christian Message to our local community and within our church family, to provide spiritual stimulation and inspiration, combined with a friendly and supportive Christian Fellowship, to enable each individual to grow and fulfill their full spiritual potential.
John Wesley first came to Towcester in 1760, and visited a number of times, the last being in November 1789, when he preached to a large congregation and said "I believe our Lord was in the midst!"
The first chapel was built in 1811 and was replaced (on the same site) in 1893 by the current one we use for worship.
Hire our premises
Our church and schoolroom are both available for both regular bookings or one off events at competitive prices.
Included in the booking is access to our well equipped kitchen.

Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals
We welcome families in both happy and sad moments for Christian services.
These take place in our regular morning service.
We are delighted when people wish to get married here, and we will do everything that we can to make your day as special as possible. In getting married in church, or in having a blessing, as well as coming to the traditional place of weddings, you are also saying that you wish God to be involved in your married life together.
It is a privilege for us to conduct Funerals or Services of Thanksgiving for people who have died. It is a chance for people to celebrate the life of the person and share memories as well as saying goodbye.
For more information please contact our Minister.
